## Simon's Agency Becomes Name Sponsor for Annual NAVAC Golf Tournament

Simon's is very proud to be the official name sponsor for this year's [North Area Volunteer Ambulance Corps](http://navac.org/) Annual Golf Tournament! This event will be held on July 22nd at the [Pompey Club](http://www.pompeyclub.com/). There will be a breakfast held at 8am followed by a shotgun start for Captain & Crew. The event concludes with an awards luncheon following the tournament. Pre-registration is required. Please call 315-458-7514 to register now or learn how to become a sponsor.
For Phil Bova, CEO of Simon's Agency, it was an opportunity to support a client as well as the community it serves, "It's an honor to be able to support a friend and client, but especially an organization that provides so much to our community. We've supported this tournament previously but it felt like the right time to get behind it with our full effort! Plus, I'm looking forward to golfing!"
“We have enjoyed our working relationship with Simons Agency and are thrilled that they are the naming sponsor for NAVAC’s 14th Annual Golf Tournament,” states NAVAC’s Executive Director, Debra Gallagher. “The proceeds from this year’s event will go towards the purchase of CPR assist devices for our ambulances.”
NAVAC instructors teach First Aid and CPR to over 3,000 individuals each year and provides rehabilitation services to firefighters at emergency scenes by monitoring their health and providing nourishing refreshments in order to prevent exertion-related illnesses.
Your generosity and support for this tournament allows NAVAC to continue providing these very valuable services to the community.
NAVAC is the provider of pre-hospital ambulance service to a 64 square mile area of Northern Onondaga County. NAVAC responds to over 6,000 emergency calls each year thanks to the dedication of the volunteer and career staff.
