title: Simon's Hometown Heroes (May)
description: Last Friday, Simon's and it's employees donated lunch from San Remo Pizza to the New York State Police in North Syracuse, the Onondaga County Sheriff's Office in Liverpool and a Dunkin' gift card to the Moyers Corners Fire Department! We just wanted to say thanks to our very own Hometown Heroes who haven't blinked in the face of this pandemic while continuing to bravely serve our community!

Last Friday, Simon's employees contributed to its own drive to give back to our heroes on the front lines of the pandemic.  Employees donated over $250 with Simon's matching that contribution.  With this, we were able to provide lunch from [San Remo](https://www.facebook.com/sanremonorthsyracuse/?epa=SEARCH_BOX) to the [New York State Police](https://www.facebook.com/nyspolice/) in North Syracuse, the [Onondaga County Sheriffs](https://www.facebook.com/OnondagaCountySheriff/) in Liverpool and a [Dunkin](https://www.facebook.com/DunkinUS/) gift card to the [Moyers Corners Volunteer Fire Department](https://www.facebook.com/MoyersCornersFD/)!

> "I wanted to thank you and the Simon’s Agency, Inc for the pizzas and chicken wings you arranged for us to have here at the North Syracuse Barracks.  Your kindness and generosity was greatly appreciated!"

Simon's employees expressed their desire to give back to those who have faced particular danger in protecting the members of our community by bravely and continually providing essential emergency services while helping to educate people and provide helpful guidance during this extraordinary time.

We thank you for your service and salute you!  You are indeed our Hometown Heroes!
